Job Description:

The Data Management Specialist prepares, reviews, researches and processes alumni and donor data from multiple sources internal and external to the University.  The incumbent is also responsible for the efficient and effective processing of daily workload of biographical updates, answering complex queries, improving data quality.  There is contact with external constituents which is usually significant in impact, though sometimes in volume as well.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma and 3-5 years of experience in data processing, preferably in financial or biographic data fields.

Job Competencies

  • Experience, understanding and command of procedural work in reference to databases and quality control.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel).
  • Candidates must demonstrate a willingness and ability to support a diverse and inclusive environment.
