Description

The Social Work Coordinator will provide support and assistance to the Administrator and the Departments of Social Work /Family Services, Volunteer and Therapeutic Recreation. Maintains all administrative functions to support the Departments of Family Care.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 3-5 years experience, preferably in a hospital setting;
  • Excellent steno/fast long hand (60 wpm), typing (50 wpm)
  • Word processing skills
  • Ability to communicate well, orally and in writing. Strict sense of confidentiality
  • Ability to be tactful and maintain poise in difficult situations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High level of competency with computer software such as Meditech, Microsoft Office, Excel
  • Experience with QA&I indicators, Functional Committee documentation and graphs
  • Exhibits an ability and attitude relative to the spirit of caring and tradition at Calvary Hospital as required by specific job duties and functions
