Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a nationally recognized and award-winning safety net healthcare system, with a major psychiatric component, and deep commitment to mission, is recruiting for a Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry at The Cambridge Hopsital. The CHA Department of Psychiatry is known nationally in its own right as a leader in innovative, comprehensive patient-centered care, multi-faceted teaching and training, and practice-based research. The CHA Department of Psychiatry is recognized as a leader in patient care, teaching and research. As a leader in mental health for more than 20 years. CHA's psychiatry teams provide caring and compassionate care while having deep connections within the community.

  • Provide clinical and administrative leadership for the Adult Acute Psychiatry Service at The Cambridge Hospital
  • Fully integrated electronic medical record (EPIC) is utilized
  • Participate in teaching opportunities to train medical students and psychiatry residents
  • As a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School (HMS); academic appointments are available commensurate with medical school criteria

Qualified candidates will have relevant inpatient experience in a leadership position and be BC/BE in psychiatry.
