Our Garden Segment is searching for an S&OP Analyst to work in our Madison, GA or Atlanta, GA location.  This newly created position will be responsible for data analysis, recommendations based on that analysis, and supporting the business in driving operational excellence and improved customer service levels. 



  • Lead ad hoc analysis of internal and external data to develop recommendations with specific action plans on how to address issues and improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations
  • Collaborate with business units to develop and monitor performance metrics in support of cost reduction, revenue generation, service level improvement, and operational efficiencies
  • Analyze variability in the supply chain and assist in establishment of appropriate inventory buffers for finished good materials relative to customer service, inventory investment, and supply chain constraints
  • Develop, generate, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and key reports for the customer leadership team and supply chain teams.  Proactively assess and execute opportunities to improve data usage
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners such as Sales, Finance, Merchandising, Production, Warehousing, and Distribution
  • Develop tools that generate scenarios to support decisions as they relate to suppliers, new product introductions, and changes in processes
  • Conduct data mining, consolidation, and summarize information for all ad hoc requests as needed
  • Assist and undertake special projects


  • Bachelor's degree with a business emphasis (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Marketing, etc.) required
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (e.g. supply chain, benchmarking, and/or data analysis)
  • Strong computer literacy with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, v look ups) and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge in transactional systems such as SAP and/or Logility, preferred
  • Ability and confidence to interact with leadership in formal presentations regarding data and analytical recommendations
  • Excellent and effective quantitative analytics skills; attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including presentation skills
  • Intellectual curiosity with the ability to embrace change; self-motivated with a sense of urgency; possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to demonstrate continuous improvement of quality, process, and standards
  • Ability to consolidate multiple data sources into one cohesive reporting tool
  • Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects
  • Ability to travel (domestic travel) 10-15% of the time
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
