ROLE SUMMARY

Packages, consolidates, wraps and loads picked orders onto delivery trucks; up to 40-50 pallets per shift.  Some areas include picking, packaging, dock rearrangement of inbound materials.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

• Complete necessary paper/computer work accurately
• Identify correct pallet and check order; manually wrap pallets.
• Operate forklift to consolidate orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the warehouse
• Regular attendance
• Onsite presence
• Provide a high level of customer satisfaction with clean, accurate, and damage-free orders.
• Flexibility with changing start times

IDEAL CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES

• Able to communicate safety issues or concerns to supervisor.
• Able to abide by all company policies and procedures
• Able to read, write and speak English.
• Able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Must be organized, cooperative and a team player.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Experience with operation of forklifts.
• Forklift certification is preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Able to safely operate and become certified in the operation of all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, walk-riders, electric pallet jacks, pallet jacks.
• Lifting up-to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Standing/walking for duration of shift.
• Temperature varies based on weather conditions.
• Warehouse environment is not 100% dust-free.
• Use of warehouse equipment including pallet-jacks, walk-riders, forklifts, etc.
• We work until the job is complete. Full-time employees are expected to work necessary overtime as required
