The Account Director II is responsible for new sales account development within an established geographic territory for a set of UCC products and servicesJob Description
Develop and manage customer relationships for assigned accounts in designated market (s) in order to gain strategic positioning with decision makers and attain UCC business.
Develop and implement actions to create additional opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell non-UCC customers to increase overall total customer spend
Assist in creating account plans and strategies to win new business from customers.
Identify new UCC sales opportunities by contacting prospective customers in the form of cold calling, premise visits, networking, lead generation, proposal submission, and customer appointments.
Learn and develop further knowledge of new technologies and selling points
Enhance expertise in the company's product application technologies
Share expertise with less senior sales teammates.
Provide accurate and detailed weekly forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities in order to meet or exceed sales quota expectations.
- Bachelors degree and 3+ years of related experience; or 5+ years of related experience
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in selling to the close
- Self-motivated, pro-active, results-oriented professional with an ability to work with minimum direction and ability to provide assistance to sales force.
- Target Account Selling (or equivalent)
- Proficient in MS office products: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Requires at least 50% or more of time conducting sales activities outside of the office
- Sales experience in the telecom industry, experience in selling UCC services
- Experience in strategic, technical, and business communications application sales
- Experience with SalesForce forecasting system
