Job Summary

Support the end to end responsibility for capital management in the Consumer Business Unit. Responsibilities include: 1) identifying, modeling, and evaluating investment opportunities with a focus on maximizing returns; 2) forecasting and tracking capital expenditures; 3) developing long-range forecasts. This work will involve leadership, collaboration, and alignment across the organization. This role is a great opportunity for a highly motived individual to advance our investment strategy and drive a meaningful impact on the Consumer business.

Job Description
  • Propose investment recommendations to management, gain funding approvals, release capital, and coordinate with implementation teams.
  • Develop capital budget, monthly forecast updates, and variance tracking.
  • Monitor post-implementation investment performance and generate feedback loops to improve future investment decisions.
  • Work on high-visibility ad-hoc analytical projects, often as part of a dynamic team composed of data scientists and software developers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase probability and drive process improvement throughout the organization.

  • Bachelors degree(s) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other quantitative discipline.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree or 6+ with an advanced degree.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient building complex financial models.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to manage up and down in an organization.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other teams across operating departments and global regions.
  • Strong experience with collecting, managing, analyzing, and visualizing financial data.
  • Telecom or tech industry experience helpful but not required.
  • Strong track record of professional and academic achievement.
