Reporting to the Sr. Director of Distribution North America, within our Fuel Dispatch and Transportation team, the Senior Fleet manager will have the opportunity to lead projects and actively participate in larger strategic company initiatives all while managing customer's deliveries, backhaul activities, including hauler management, equipment utilization, and Freight Spend.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Here are just a few ways that you'll help make journeys better:
Direct transportation activities in all aspects of planning & execution of product deliveries ;
Adjust delivery routes based upon capacity to optimize runs ;
Communicate and coordinate with third party carriers & Internal carriers ;
Conduct weekly planning & coordination to develop market strategies for the coming week ;
Oversee the freight spend and service level of over 2,500 sites;
Implement procedures within external distribution channels, including carrier development ;
Serves as first line of communication for all transportation related issues
Provide exceptional and timely customer service at all times to internal & external customers in regards to planning, scheduling, RFQs, troubleshooting & issue resolutions.

Associate Degree in Logistics required (Bachelor's degree preferred) ;
10+ years' logistics or general transportation experience, combination of education and experience will be considered ;
5+ years' management or supervisory experience ;
Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays ;
Strong computer skills required ;
Self-Starter with a proven track record of delivering streamlined logistics ;
Possesses creativity and thinks quick to make decisions ;
Has budgeting & forecasting experiencing & knows how to directly control/impact freight spend ;
