Job Purpose:
To provide general and inhalation specific facility maintenance and cleanliness and to support inhalation technical staff in compliance with appropriate SOPs, GLPs and regulatory agency guidelines. To monitor animal health and welfare in compliance with the Animal Welfare Act and help maintain facilities for AAALAC compliance. Records data in a consistent, accurate, timely and legible manner.
Under close supervision, recognize common hazards within the animal facility and Inhalation Exposure Laboratories, and comply with designated safety procedures. Demonstrate initiative and commitment to the general upkeep of the facility.
Education/Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Experience:Experience with animals preferred
