The Director, Payroll & HR Operations plays an important role for our rapidly changing organization to support our Workday, Payroll, and Benefits teams. We are looking for an execution oriented player/coach with experience in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
- Help drive the strategic roadmap of the Company's global payroll, benefits, and HR systems
- Manage large scale projects – handle budget, execution, quality, & business communications
- Responsible for Workday administration, optimization, and deployment of new functionality
- Oversee global payroll processes ensuring accuracy, on time payment, audit, and tax compliance
- Coordinate internal audits – solve for identified areas of risk
- Help create an irresistible employee experience by helping us evolve total rewards structures
- Identify & execute on opportunities to improve our processes through automation & education
- Maintain benefits integrations, invoicing, and 1095-C creation/filing
- Create HR analytics to identify business trends & opportunities for improvement
- Improve data integrity by using Workday validation rules, audit dashboards, & other techniques
- Serve as mentor & coach – educate the team and business on best practices & new trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or business-related field
- 10 years' experience in global HR Ops – minimum 5 years payroll & 3 years HRIS
- Experience administering sales compensation plans preferred
- Excellent PC skills required, Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
- Possess certification(s) like CCP, PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP a plus
- Strong project management and change management skills
- Superior attention to detail and accuracy, excellent problem solving, analytical and research skills
- Collaborative work style with a focus on providing exceptional guidance
