Description

In partnership with the Strategic Account Executive, the Client Engagement Specialist is responsible for creating new marketing opportunities for all assigned accounts.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Secure and execute Marketing Opportunities within assigned Base accounts.

  • Support Business Development Executive or Strategic Account Executive to drive student growth in designated accounts.

  • Track success of marketing opportunities and adjust quarterly in order to drive effectiveness.

  • Deliver and promote webinars and workshops offered by CTU Marketing within designated accounts.

  • Discover communication vehicles within assigned Base accounts and tap into those avenues in order to promote CTU, e.g. newsletters, intranets sites, closed loop TV, etc.

  • Staff all EAC events, e.g. education fairs, lunch and learns, etc.

  • Explore branch office locations for assigned accounts and discover additional points of contact for locations.

  • Maintain knowledge of business developments within assigned accounts that may offer potential for new business opportunities for CTU, e.g. merger or acquisition, major new business launch, etc.

  • Maintain Salesforce database with accurate information pertaining to assigned accounts.

  • Represent CTU as requested at conferences or other venues.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in delivering corporate account growth

  • Knowledge of variety of industries/corporate marketplace

  • Effective networking and negotiation skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Excellent desktop computer skills

  • High level of initiative and energy with demonstrated ability to generate results

  • Instinct for revenue-generating opportunities

  • Strong passion for Career Education Corporation and the Higher Education industry, including our mission, products/programs, values and success

Education and Experience: Minimum

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Marketing

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of digital marketing

  • College degree in business, marketing or other related degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (or international equivalent) required

Education and Experience: Preferred

  • Salesforce.com experience
