Job Description
The Process Improvement and Strategic Innovation Advisor, Pharmacy Operations will be a vital contributor to a team focused on the development and refinement of processes in regards to the production process, inventory handling, and out-of-stock situations within the Retail Pharmacy and its impact on the script fulfillment process. With 9,600+ pharmacies across the country, CVS Health offers the valuable opportunity to develop innovative solutions that will impact more than 60 million patients every year.

A unique challenge of this role will be to support sustainable and effective programs that focus on increasing efficiencies in workflow while balancing processes that are safe and easy for pharmacy colleagues to execute, and ultimately achieving favorable financial performance at a corporate level.

Primary responsibilities of the Process Improvement and Strategic Innovation Advisor, Pharmacy Operations:

-Acting as a thought-partner for business stakeholders as they determine how to best improve our operations processes
-Prepare materials and presentations in a way that can be easily understood by others who may not have the same background or expertise
-Create solid business cases that determine the value and risks associated with new processes and refinement of current processes
-Prioritize, structure timelines, develop project plans, engage and align stakeholders across multiple groups, and incorporate feedback into active workstreams
-Strategically employ data analysis to determine and monitor KPIs of multiple projects and initiatives
-Engage with cross-functional groups in the development of new processes and resolve issues encountered by the team

The Process Improvement and Strategic Innovation Advisor, Pharmacy Operations position requires strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to be able to influence our store teams, field leadership, and internal business partners. This position will routinely interact with the following groups: Pharmacy Operations, Inventory, IS, Compliance, Loss Prevention, Legal, Pharmacy Merchandising, Quality and Safety, and Field Leadership. The candidate must also possess the ability to think creatively, be a self-starter with limited guidance and coaching, and to proactively develop and present potential solutions.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience identifying and defining business problems and issues, and developing strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analysis and/or measure success
- 2 + years of experience using Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. Similar application suites (Open Office, Google Drive, etc.) are acceptable

Preferred Qualifications
- Process efficiency/continuous improvement experience
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, and/or other advanced data analytics
- Ability to communicate effectively in a clear, logical and consistent manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact and influence at all levels
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed and meeting deadlines
- High level of independent judgment and initiative

Education
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
