Supervise housekeeping associates to ensure brand standards of hotel cleanliness. Prepare work assignments for housekeeping associates to include check-out and stay-over rooms to be cleaned. Advise Housekeeping manager and Front desk department of rooms ready for occupancy.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 1. Previous hotel housekeeping or other applicable cleaning experience preferred 2. High school diploma or equivalent preferred 3. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English 4. Must be detail oriented and able to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment 5. Must be flexible to work all shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Plan and prepare work schedules for housekeeping associates 2. Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner 3. Inspect work performed by housekeeping associates to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards 4. Forecast necessary levels of staffing and stock at different times to facilitate effective scheduling and ordering.
