Work You'll Do
Provide advisory and managed services to help clients spot, assess, manage and respond to risks and catastrophic unforeseen incidents that could undermine their competitive position and jeopardize their critical assets, reputation and financial standing; bring to market thought leadership, insight and analysis that helps clients think and act differently about strategic risk. Provide advisory services in various areas of risk management, risk analytics, and crisis management. Diagnose client's current strategic assumptions, blind spots and organizational dynamics to provide fresh insight into competitive advantages, vulnerabilities and strategic risks. Research rules and regulations and prepare various financial reports to ensure the compliance of clients' business processes. Explore future trends and scenarios to understand strategic risks. Analyze business processes, controls and technology needed to effectively support financial risk management and treasury functions.
Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent).
Eighteen months of financial advisory experience.
Experience must include twelve months of:
Analyzing financial data from various fund systems and bank statements;
Performing periodic reconciliation to ensure accuracy of data and transactions;
Communicating funding processes and reconciliation requirements to the data analytics team, and assisting with the reconciliation automation process;
Supporting system development teams to design the fund management systems to ensure compliance of the payment/reimbursement process;
Assisting with project management operations to provide core delivery support, including reviewing and tracking project deliverables in SharePoint;
Developing financial modeling and writing reports to support cost recovery process; and
Performing financial reporting, accounting revenue recognition, and systems testing in compliance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Position requires approximately 80% travel.
