AI Strategic Growth Offering (SGO) Sales Engineering Solution Architect

What You'll Be Doing:

The Artificial Intelligence Strategic Growth Offering (AI SGO) is looking for a Solutions Architect to help create customized immersive experiences for strategic pursuits to showcase Deloitte's AI-fueled assets and insights, to further differentiate our capabilities with clients. Specific activities to include:

  • Develop Innovative Pursuit Assets:
    • Develop memorable/creative, reusable assets for use across pursuits
    • Develop prototypes that can be rapidly tailored
  • Provide Asset/Platform Expertise:
    • Act as a SME on Deloitte and vendor assets and platforms, actively engage with pursuit team in client discussion as needed
    • Serve as a solution engineer providing expertise for pursuits/ engagements (e.g., integrating AI assets and platforms with the client's technical environment), and able to oversee additional team members as necessary in the  development of holistic solutions
  • Collaborate with Account Teams:
    • Serve as a sales engineer proficient in AI and insights development to support account teams with large pursuits
    • Work with sector and OP leads to build awareness among account teams regarding the sales engineering services and offerings available from the global AI SGO
    • Advise account teams regarding the technical approach of the response by taking ownership of the solution description and usage and composition of assets within a solution


  • 3+ years of relevant Artificial Intelligence consulting or industry experience
  • 3+ years of hands on experience with Python and relevant libraries(PySpark, NLTK, Etc)
  • 2+ years' experience leading workstreams or small teams
  • A Bachelor's degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.



  • Experience developing and configuring Demo's and POC's for client presentation
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with firm leaders
  • Very strong strategy and leadership experience, project management, PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Strong track record working in fast-paced, high-volume roles that require adapting quickly to evolving priorities

  • Understanding of data structure and lineage
  • Tech Integration/ Apps/Automation Skills
  • Statistics/ Quantitative Skills
  • Ability to research, develop and correctly apply statistical models
  • Understanding of the technology landscape including open-source, commercial on-premises, and cloud-based tools: Microsoft Cognitive Services, IBM Watson, IPSoft, Pega, Salesforce Einstein, Google Cloud Platform/Tensor Flow, Amazon Web Services/Sagemaker, PowerBI, SparkCognition, Expert System, Numenta, Deepmind, CognitiveScale, CustomerMatrix
  • Demonstrated expertise with at least one full life cycle Artificial Intelligence engagement across strategy, design and implementation.
  • User Interface (UI) design knowledge
  • Experience in Hadoop, Spark, Storm or related paradigms and associated lower level languages such as Java/C++, R, Python, etc.
  • Experience with developing web applications with SOA, RESTful, and/or MVC architecture
  • Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript (Node.js) / Python)
  • Expert HTML, JavaScript, and CSS skills
  • Strong experience with server-side Web frameworks (Django (Python), Express (Node.js), Play (Java))
  • Strong experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, PostgresDB, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4j)
  • Experience developing across Windows/UNIX
  • Experience developing for mobile platforms
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build process, testing and operations.
