Finance Business Partner – Manager - Advisory

 

The BP&A Business Partner organizations provide specialized finance-related services in support of the business leaders of the firm.

 



The Team

 

The Advisory Finance team supports a $3.2B diverse business across several Risk and Financial Advisory Offerings, as well as Managed Services, Products and Government & Public Services.  The team predominately works virtually and highly collaboratively to provide world-class strategic and financial analysis across various dimensions, including Offerings, Industries, Client Segments and Products.  We are responsible for annual planning, monthly forecasting, weekly profitability analysis, among other financial deliverables

 



Work You Will Do:

 

You will work with leadership to define, and continuously refine, financial KPI's.  Provide reporting on an ongoing basis, ensuring aligned with business objectives around key areas of:

  1. Commercial Office
    • Works with business stakeholders to develop customer pricing strategies and support for products & solutions
    • Provide reporting and tracking of investment spend with ROI analysis
    • Develop and support Mercury demand analyses
    • Develop and monitor PPMD Sales Targets
    • Provide EAC analysis, sync with Mercury demand analysis
    • Lead Value Based Billing financial support
    • Lead Alliances and Reseller financial support
    • Provide financial support for Labs
  2. Client Account Planning
    • Liaise with Clients & Industries Leader and firm Clients team to drive account planning process
    • Provide actionable reporting



Qualifications



Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related subject
  • CPA or MBA preferred




Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in a professional services firm
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in the following areas:
    1. Financial Reporting and Analysis
    2. Working with Senior Leadership
    3. Problem solving skills
    4. Quality and risk management
    5. Project management
    6. Change management
    7. Business process improvement
    8. Providing thought leadership
    9. Formulating and delivering action plans for high profile strategic initiatives
    10. Developing innovative solutions to business issues

Technology or Other Requirements

 

  • Understanding of SAP, Analysis for Office, HANA and other financial applications
  • Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Will not require sponsorship now or in the future.
  • All candidates must be willing and able to travel as needed for their clients, however, depending on staffing needs, most positions are in-office-based with limited travel required. While limited travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice.
