CBO – Systems Engineering – Project Delivery Specialist – Release Train Engineer - PDM

As an experienced Release Train Engineer, you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel.
Work you'll do
An RTE is someone who works with cross functional stakeholders such as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Dev and Test teams etc. to facilitate end to end implementation for a deliverable (functionality, enhancement etc.) in an agile environment, typically via user stories and JIRA boards. Which means this person does not necessarily need to be a subject matter expert and/or a coder but needs to have some level of IT delivery management and technical understanding, to be able to converse with stakeholders, or in other words, this person needs to be tech savvy as well as have great interpersonal skills (comms, client management etc.)
Our Systems Engineering team delivers large-scale software applications and integrated systems, and assists clients with architecture design, assessment and optimization, and definition. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Facilitates and manages ART execution across functions and scrum teams
• Manages program level impediments; works with functional teams to resolve the impediments
• Conducts release planning and socializes outcome; Publishes release plan
• Conducts program level scrum of scrums across all executing functions
• Sets up release review (i.e. Program Increment Demo) meetings
• Drives program level continuous improvement via inspect & adapt sessions
• Tracks program level metrics and manages reporting
• Limited Sponsorship may be available
• 8-10 years of full- time experience with IT project management & delivery, preferably in an agile environment
• Release Management

• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence and related tracking tools
• Must live in or be willing to live in Basking Ridge, NJ

• DevOps Basics, Scrum Master Experience
