Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Solution Specialist, Human Capital, HR Transformation in Lake Mary, Florida and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. 


Work You'll Do

Create innovative and transformative solutions that address needs and improve performance by determining the appropriate talent and workforce structure and transform workforce practices in ways that lead to significant savings and a leading edge on competition and greater efficiency. Define, build, and implement programs that drive strategic change, organizational design and governance, culture, and technology adoption solutions that enable the success of transformation goals. Define, build, and implement enhancements to Human Resource (HR) processes and structure that will improve the HR function's alignment to business objectives and ability to help drive business results. Engage in research and analysis to measure and articulate the value of organizational activities, programs, and investments and provide actionable solutions using methodologies to measure, govern, and evaluate performance. Create Deloitte-customized information architectures, user flows and journeys, personas, scenarios and wireframe artifacts; and facilitate workshops and user testing sessions that meet business goals and ensure a positive user experience. Write user stories for the developers and testers containing business and functional logic and design requirements, design user testing, perform functional testing by designing tests. Search and mine large data sets to discover meaningful patterns, trends, and relationships to identify success measures and analysis. Create business case decision models and customer financial models and execute process mapping to optimize operational productivity, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (Any), or a related field and one (1) year of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Must also have one (1) year of related work experience involving each of the following: 

  • Supporting SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) through data cleansing and conversions, interfacing design and development, implementing technology using Cloud based technologies, and addressing complex business problems using Oracle Human Capital Management applications;

  • Driving HR technology implementation using Agile methodology through planning, process designing, configuring, system and UAT (User Acceptance) testing;

  • Creating time processing groups in Oracle Applications to apply rules for overtime and double time processing;

  • ConfiguringOracle Applications, including employee enrolment, accrual calculation, carry over and cash out options;

  • Automating processing of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), sick, paid time off and client specific leaves utilizing Oracle Applications;

  • Developing and analyzing Oracle Applications reports and data integrations using Oracle HCM extract, Oracle BI Publisher, and transnational business intelligence tools;

  • Conducting conversion of absence enrollments data from legacy systems into new HR systems using Oracle Cloud HDL (HCM Data Loader) and MS Excel spreadsheet load tool;

  • Creating detailed test scripts and support documents to test the system through Octane, HP ALM (Application Life Cycle Management), and Jira;

  • Creating and delivering client custom technical and functional specifications for all programs, integrations and extensions using Oracle Applications, REST API (Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface), and Oracle ICS (Integration Cloud Services); and

  • Defining, building and implementing enhancements to HR processes and structure in Oracle Applications to improve the HR function's alignment to business objectives and ability to help drive business results. 

  • 15% travel required nationally.
