Seeking full time, Board Certified/Prepared Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians to work at VA Northern California HCS; with opportunities in Redding, CA. Eligible applicants should be able to provide comprehensive primary care: including gender specific (Women's Health), tele-health, and virtual care. Our staff physicians are an integral part of a team that focuses on the whole health of their patient panel and works to provide the highest quality of care. Preferred Experience: Best qualified candidates will be Board Eligible/Board Certified Physician in specialty with 5+ year's experience in the field. Another example: The best qualified candidate will be a seasoned clinician who demonstrates extensive and progressive leadership experience, both as a clinician and an administrator, and possess the ability to promote innovation, inspire organizational excellence, be able to build teams, and coach clinical leaders as they work toward common goals. Exceptional interpersonal skills, project management, organizational planning, and facilitation skills are essential. The successful candidate must have the ability to meet VA established performance measure goals and possess a thorough knowledge of the standards of the Veterans Health Administration and other accrediting bodies.

--208 hours (5.2 weeks) paid vacation (full-time physicians earn 8 hours each pay period upon employment/part-time physicians earn 1 hour of vacation leave for every 10 hours worked)
--104 hours (2.6 weeks) paid sick leave (full-time physicians earn 4 hours pay period upon employment, no cap) /part-time physicians earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 20 hours worked)
--10 paid Federal holidays (any time clinics are closed you get time-off with pay and does not come out of paid vacation)
--Competitive Annual Salary (Comprised of Base Pay + Market Pay)
---Base Pay = based on time in service, start at Grade 15/Step 1 with increase every 2yrs
---Market Pay = reviewed biennially for possible increase/not in line with base pay increase

A Recruitment/Relocation Incentive, lump sum upon appointment with minimum 2-4 year service obligation, is authorized for highly qualified candidates.
Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), up to $200,000 tax-free over 5/years depending on the amount of verified qualifying debt balance and funding availability.
