The Materials Analyst is a key member of our AC Materials Team. You will be part of a global team of Supply Chain professionals that ensures a reliable flow of materials and products from our suppliers, through our manufacturing plants, and to Emerson customers. Analytical skills will be utilized extensively in processing data and visualizing how our Materials Management and Operations are performing which will ensure efficient operations and improve our processes.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
As a Materials Analyst, your responsibilities include:
- Generating daily, weekly and monthly reports to ensure efficient materials management for manufacturing operations
- Adopting the use of new Business Intelligence tools to provide improved reporting
- Assisting in production planning and scheduling as required
- Ensuring the accuracy of materials data in the ERP system
- Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering or related fields
- At least 1 year experience in a Supply Chain, Materials Management, Analytics or related function
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint)
- Experience in any ERP system is an advantage
You have a strong drive for results and exhibits passion and enthusiasm to get things done. With excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills, you are able to efficiently process data, generate accurate high-quality reports and present results and findings. You are a proactive self-starter with a high level of commitment in exceeding expectations. With excellent communication skills, you can effectively communicate ideas and influence both internal and external customers. You are interpersonal savvy and able to collaborate and effectively work with people across any level. You are flexible and willing to support other functional areas as required and willing to work on a shifting schedule as demanded by business situation.
