Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will be responsible for pre-sales technical and application support for products and services. Incumbent will support direct and indirect selling resources in assigned territories to achieve sales goals.
AS AN APPLICATION ENGINEER, YOU WILL:
- Support list price generation, optimized margin, and technical sales support
- Partner with key stakeholders including but not limited to sales managers, product managers, engineering, planners, buyers, manufacturing engineering, and finance to maximize profit and provide quick technical solutions to customers
- Be proficient in ASME and ASTM standards
- Negotiate contractual documents directly with customers and/or suppliers
- Prepare and give presentations to varies audiences
- Maintains / provides key data for daily, weekly, monthly use
- Assist pricing negotiations of customers' proposals
- Provide varied phone and e-mail support to customers
- Organize and maintain customer service orders, quotes, records and databases
- Draft periodic status reports

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 0 - 3 years' related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Technical qualification in a mechanical field highly desirable
- SAP and CRM experience a plus
- The successful candidate will have strong computer skills, ability to work with detail and solid math skills.
- Knowledge of valves and SAP would be valuable.
