By joining Emerson as a Financial Reporting Accountant, you will be working at the heart of our business. You will benefit from an excellent development opportunity, offering exposure to all areas of finance, all while helping accomplish vital accounting functions for our business.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Independently running the month close process for company financials;
• Preparing UK statutory accounts and tax reports;
• Liaising with the Shared Service Center for the business accounting & operational functions;
• Maintaining vitally important data integrity;
• Acting as back-up for the Financial Controller or Financial Analyst
Requirements for the role:
If you are a qualified ACCA or ACA accountant or close to qualifying, achieving your qualification, this will be a fabulous opportunity for your career. To be an ideal candidate you will need:
• Proven financial experience gained in a manufacturing or commercial environment;
• Knowledge of both US and UK GAAP reporting;
• A proactive, business partnering and flexible approach;
• Strong computer skills, particularly Excel and ERP systems;
