If you are a technical/industrial sales professional looking for growth, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Serving Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio, you will support customers of our Branson Ultrasonics business unit and contribute to company sales objectives by meeting or exceeding assigned territorial goals and expanding the customer base. We are in search of a motivated individual to continue to grow this territory in various industries and market segments. This role will be responsible for developing and nurturing our customer relationships as part of our greater sales organization and in turn, we will offer a flexible work schedule as business needs and goals are met. AS SENIOR SALES ENGINEER, YOU WILL: 

  • Satisfy customer needs by assisting in part design, process development, training, and after sales support/service.
  • Maintain and upgrade customer contacts so the decision makers in the assigned territory are aware of the advantage and availability of products, programs, and services.
  • Follow through on all customer inquiries and sales leads
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of all products, applications, price structure, industry developments strategies.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelors degree required - prefer engineering degree
  • Minimum of 3 years customer facing applications engineering or sales experience dealing with industrial capital equipment
  • Consultative outside technical sales experience dealing with customer engineering and product development teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Domestic travel required (mostly day travel; overnight travel < 20%)
  • Valid Driver's License required
