About the Role:
Emerson delivers control and safety systems to help provide a safer, more environmentally efficient manufacturing process. This position is responsible for maintaining high customer satisfaction and market recognition as a service provider. Direct customer contact will be part of this role, mostly remotely, however sometimes also face-to-face. The supervisor will be the customer's escalation point for technical issues.
In this role you will:
- Recruit, develop and coach the Field Service engineers team, to achieve the highest level of professional performance and behavior towards customers (internal and external);
- Develop the Service team and ensure sufficient knowledge and expertise is present to support our customers in all phases of their systems lifecycle;
- Securing customer satisfaction by recognizing and addressing their operational needs;
- Be the linking pin between Sales and Service, synchronizing information from the field with new opportunities at sales;
- Have a supportive role in selling services, both directly and in cooperation with our local sales force and the contract manager;
You proactively work with others across the organization in order to establish and achieve common goals. You have a can-do perspective and enjoy delivering fresh and creative ideas. You can navigate matrix organizations and strive in a complex environment.
For succeeding in this position, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or in Process Automation, Process, Computer Programming, Computer Networks or Electrical Engineering;
- Verbal and written communication skills fluent in Dutch, French and English;
- Management experience;
- Advanced level of service and presentation skills;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Familiar with Emerson or competitor products is a big advantage;
