- Perform a variety of test engineering assignments to provide for proper and efficient means of testing division products
Generate, document, implement and maintain assigned test software and test procedures
- Recommend test equipment for procurement as capital equipment
- Provide technical support and training for production test operations
Devise and implement cost improvements for the test engineering and production areas
Participate in migration of product and test facilities from other locations
- Perform temporary test supervisor services as required
Develop technical and productivity skills by attending seminars, trade shows, reviewing literature and improving computer skills
Provide support for the following processes that are used in iCenters globally:
- Signature Test
- OSR Test Tool
- EID Data Collection
Daily duties will involve maintenance and trouble shooting of procedures and programs currently in place, but will also require modification and/or possible redevelopment and rewrite of existing programs and procedures, as current Emerson products are revised and new Emerson products are released
The position requires a BS in Engineering or the equivalent.
The position requires proficiency in a current programming environment – preferably in the C programming language environment. Proficiency in National Instruments LabWindows CVI is a plus.
The successful candidate must have good oral and written skills and must demonstrate intellect and aptitude showing capability to become highly knowledgeable in all Ovation hardware and software, including all associated manufacturing processes and procedures. Must also demonstrate problem solving skills showing the capability of troubleshooting hardware and software problems successfully to resolutions.
