Highlight Top / Key Responsibilities for this position Positioning Emerson ACT at EPCs as a trusted advisor by implementing a dedicated Account Management Strategy Provide early spec influence, positioning Actuation Technologies Brands as a preferred valve neutral actuator vendor by identifying key decision makers and stake holders at EPCs understanding their requirements/desiderata learning about scope of supply and specification early in the Project cycle Leverage the Emerson Organization across different BU to Engage with Top Management of the EPCs Organization unless the candidate is capable to achieve it independently Be Accountable for the Project strategy until order is placed to the VOEM including but not limited to the accountability for the Technical Scope Definition, the degree of adherence to Specs, Pricing, VOEMs/Channel strategy (in coordination with the WAs) Keep consistent Project intelligence during the bidding process managing the flow of information within the project stake holders Engage with the SBU when required for the Project positioning to Develop formal Project Sales Pipeline Reporting Excellent understanding of project data to predict project order outcomes and to manage planning on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis Work on project / end user AVL through concern team as & when required. Desired Educational Qualification Engineering Degree with 8 to 12 years of experience.
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required Actuation/Valve Products very good knowledge and expertise At least 8-12 years of proven track record of EPC account sales management in the oil and gas industry preferably in India, additional industries i.e. renewables will be considered a plus Must have a solid track record of leading by influencing others within a diverse and globally distributed team of professionals Experience orchestrating challenging project sales within a highly complex global organization with participation required across multiple functions / divisions Languages: Fluent English.
