Envision Physician Services is seeking PRN Neuro-Hospitalists to join our team at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida.

Neuro-Hospitalist Program

• Need to be neuro boarded or eligible
• Single physician coverage -9am to 3pm M-F 9am-2pm on weekends
• Specialty back up as well as Tele-Neuro backup
• Expecting 12-15 patient encounters a day- expect growth– no Peds
• Referral center
• Majority of patients are stroke
• Residency Program- potential for teaching position

Largo Medical Center is a 455-bed acute-care hospital located on three campuses. Located in mid-Pinellas County on the West Coast of Florida, the hospital provides medical care for the residents of Largo, Clearwater, Seminole and many of the Gulf Coast beach communities. Largo Medical Center have been proudly serving the community since for more than four decades now, offering a broad range of medical services. We recently started performing heart-saving left ventricular assist device implantations, expanded our Orthopedics and Spine Floor by 26 beds, and opened a four-bed Transplant Intensive Care Unit. Largo Medical Center is designated as a Statutory Teaching Hospital by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). This means we provide clinical education and training to current and future doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, in addition to delivering medical care to patients. Our hospital is an accredited Chest Pain Center and a Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. Largo Medical Center has many service lines including the AFib and Heart Rhythm Centers, the Behavioral Health, Cardiovascular, Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine, Orthopedics, Spine and Neuro, Palliative Care Services, Robotic Surgery and the Transplant Institute of Florida. We received the Leapfrog Safety Grade of an "A" in the Spring of 2019, the Gold Seal from The Joint Commission and several quality accolades for Heart and Stroke care from the American Heart Association.

Largo is the third largest city in Pinellas County and is part of the Tampa Bay Area. Centrally located, it is the crossroads of the county. Recreation is the mantra here.
