The staff at Fawcett Memorial Hospital continually meets the high standards required to care for the unique needs of our patients. As part of the HCA West and Central Florida hospital system, our 237-bed facility serves the Port Charlotte area.
In collaboration with Director/Manager, The Lead Physical Therapist models, fosters and drives a patient focused culture through ensuring service excellence "must haves" are practiced and hardwired within assigned areas.
Supports physicians' need to operate in multiple work environments; proactively provides assistance within scope of practice in ensuring physician can easily access and utilize services.
- Bachelors in Science and/or Masters in Science from school of Physical Therapy:
Therapy: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
Minimum 2 years' experience in appropriate healthcare setting; Supervisory experience preferred
Current State of Florida Physical Therapy license
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Through American Heart
Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills.
