Fayetteville State University Broadwell College of Business and Economics is seeking an individual with a passion for teaching accounting to join a dynamic, collegial faculty team. This is a full-time, tenure track position beginning Fall 2020.The person hired will be expected to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in accounting in support of both the Accounting Degree and the Online Degree Completion Accounting Degree. The successful candidate will be expected to:
• Conduct research leading to peer reviewed publications;
• Teach classes, both face to face and online, in accounting (primary area is financial and secondary area is either tax or auditing) with a 3/3 teaching load;
• Engage with students by participating in mentoring, accounting club, and other student activities.
• Assist with department, college, university and community service consistent with the mission of Fayetteville State University.
Doctoral degree in Accounting from an AACSB accredited school; ABD’s will be considered.Knowledge skills and abilities: Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certification such as a CPA or CMA is a plus
Prior experience teaching online and face to face.
