Position Summary:

Works with the Marketing and Communications teams to create videos and online articles educating consumers about suspension technology, functions and benefits in a visually creative and engaging way.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage FOX Academy content plan, budget and vision for suspension education
  • Deep dives with the engineering departments to learn the specifics of how and why different shock architectures are created and how they work. 
  • Script writing and storyboarding of educational videos including animations, motion tracked call outs, etc.
  • Produce shot lists for live action vehicle video shoots and as well as physically assist with content creation and direction on location. 
  • Video editing of smaller projects and managing multiple contractors for larger projects. 
  • Publish on-line articles supporting FOX Academy content
  • Track monthly audience impact and collaborate with Social Marketing to drive awareness.
  • Collaborate with marketing team on educational needs for campaign ideation through to execution. 

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:

  • Strong video capture and editing skills: Ideally Adobe Premier Pro and After Effects as well as aptitude for learning new software.  
  • Strong software and presentation skills: Microsoft Office, PM systems, etc.
  • Excellent presentation and inter-personal skills.
  • Highly organized, creative and able to juggle many projects simultaneously.
  • Work autonomously when needed to push projects through tight timelines.

Position Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Education or other related discipline, or equivalent work experience.


3+ years of experience in marketing, with previous experience developing training materials preferred.

Knowledge of the mountain bicycle/action sports industry is a plus. 

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Office Environment, Large Consumer In-Person Events, Out-Door/Off-Road Photo/Video Shoots

Ability to sit for long periods of time

Ability to carry / move photo and video equipment as needed

Use hand and power tools

Vision abilities required to edit images and enter data on computer
