Summary:The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for helping outside reps achieve sales goals for our K-12 Nutrition side of the business. Products include MealViewer, Digital Signage, Mosaic, and MCS. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative is required to demonstrate a strong understanding of Heatlands' other products & services within the K-12 marketplace.
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for helping outside reps achieve sales goals for our K-12 Nutrition side of the business. Products include MealViewer, Digital Signage, Mosaic, and MCS. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative is required to demonstrate a strong understanding of Heartlands' other products & services within the K-12 marketplace.
Generate, qualify, process and work leads through ALL lead-generation activities.
Participation in National, State or Regional Shows as requested.
“Cold Calling” and other lead generation activities for 1-2 reps per day.
Use software to schedule Product demonstrations on behalf of reps tol be done with WebEx applications via the internet or in person.
Develop cross-selling opportunities for other areas of our business.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge across all School Solutions' products & services
Become proficient in the discussion of both Menu Planning, Digital Suite, & Digital Signage.
Become familiar with Digital Menu/Signage practices and procedures as well as the K-12 School Industry
Maintain prospect account data in SalesForce in a timely fashion.
Maintain forecasting in SalesForce.
Become familiar with and use of ALL communications media to office (Salesforce, Outlook, Webex, Voice Mail, etc.)
Monitor expenses by adhering to Employee Manual expense guidelines.
- Candidates must have (3) three years of selling / cold calling experience
In addition to the above specific attributes, the ideal candidate will have proficient written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently make in person and web presentations to School Business Officials and Board-level Senior Executives.
Candidates will be required to submit a writing sample during the interview process.
Ability to influence decisions and behaviors.
Ability to make decisions based on research and analysis is necessary.
Aptitude for numbers, writing, editing and proofreading are required.
Familiarity and comprehension of our markets along with an understanding of the company's products, services and their applications to customers is essential.
Efficient problem solving and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
The ability to work independently or as a functional team member is required.
Organizational skills with intense attention to details, timelines and metrics are essential.
Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience is preferred.
