Gulf Coast Regional Medical Center is a 216-bed acute care hospital proudly serving Bay County and surrounding communities for 40 years. The Stress Lab RN assists in transport, preparation and performance of various types of Stress Testing. Provides all nursing assessment, care and documentation for Stress Lab Procedures including patient admission, medication administration with EMAR documentation, and patient/physician support if patient procedural response becomes unstable. Assumes responsibility and accountability for several patients while following policies and procedures of Gulf Coast Medical Center. Prioritizes and organizes patient flow to ensure best utilization of time. Is given general guidance and is expected to function with initiative and sound judgment to provide quality services. Demonstrates effective safety practices. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and Medical Staff. Demonstrate competence when performing other related or licensed functions.
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: MinimumofAssociate degree Registered Nurse required from an accredited institution
· Current RN license in Florida required
· BLS and ACLS required within 90 days of hire
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
· 1 year acute care or critical care experience preferred
