HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital, located in Panama City, Florida, is a 223-bed acute care hospital. For more than 40 years, HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital has proudly served Bay County and our surrounding communities. Currently, our acute beds include a 20 bed adult intensive care unit along with a 4 bed pediatric intensive care unit.
HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is certified in Advanced Primary Stroke Care, accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and is the area's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. Our hospital offers a variety of services including orthopedic care and joint replacement, robotic surgery, cardiac, vascular and interventional services. HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital provides the only Pediatric ER in the area and the only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) in the region.
Our expanded emergency services include our new freestanding ER, Panama City ER. Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Panama City ER is located on Highway 231 just north of Transmitter Road. As a full-service emergency department, the ER includes 11 private patient care rooms, a dedicated cardiac/respiratory resuscitation room, and full hospital lab and diagnostic imaging services including X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound.
HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital's highly skilled team of OB/GYNs and nurses provide compassionate care for our expectant mothers in private labor, delivery and recovery suites offering a safe, supportive and homelike environment. Our specialized practice of using couplet care, a model of caring that emphasizes mother and baby being cared for together, as a pair or “couplet,” provides one nurse to personally help our mothers and babies off to a happy, healthy start during their stay at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital.

Under general supervision, makes preparation, operates equipment and assists physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures special procedures; performs hemodynamic monitoring and other duties as assigned. Performs radiographic procedures of a highly specialized nature to demonstrate cardiac and vascular patency in a variety of anatomical parts. Recognizes the importance of supporting the team in general care of the patient and family member. Supports general efficient function of the lab by assisting in transporting patients to or from the Lab.

EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED: High school graduate required Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required from an accredited institution or RCIS credential LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: ARRT registry required AND State of Florida RT license OR RCIS credential BLS at hire ACLS within 6 months of hire EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED: Successful completion of ARRT examination with a current license to practice radiographic technology or Successful completion of RCIS examinations and credentials required Previous Specials, Vascular or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
