The successful candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience in master data management, analytics, business intelligence or related field with a proven track record of building master data, data quality, data stewardship, metadata management solutions on next generation data platforms.

Job Details:

What you will be doing?

  • Utilize data profiling and data quality tools with various data sources to uncover and determine root causes of data quality issues and then work with the operations teams to repair the existing data errors and implement remediation steps to prevent data errors from occurring in the future.

  • Develops and codes solutions for master data management, data quality, and data management activities.

  • Designs solutions for master management, data quality, and data management activities.

  • Work closely with data engineering teams, business analysts, subject matter experts and other business and technology staff to execute master data management initiatives.

  • Participate in metadata management utilizing our data catalog tool building out our business glossary, data stewardship, data lineage, and metadata framework capabilities.

  • Help us to expand our data stewardship program and work with data owners in business value added data initiatives.

  • Participate in data governance policy and standard writing and review along with developing short presentations for the department and senior level executives.

  • Utilize various guidelines and best practices to evaluate and make practical recommendations on data management policies, procedures, standards and controls.

  • Implements improvements in data architecture, data stewardship processes and functions.

Additional specific qualifications include:

  • Experience in master data management concepts and tools - Profisee Maestro MDM, Microsoft Master Data Services, Visual Studio, SQL Server Reporting Informatica Data Developer 9.6.x / Informatica Data Analyst 9.6.x

  • Experience designing and implementing relational data models working with RDBMS - SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or PostgreSQL

  • Experience with Data Project Management, Data and Systems Analysis, Business Process Improvement and Data compiling, evaluation, processing, monitoring and profiling solutions

  • Experience with Data Catalog, metadata management and business glossary tools

  • Experience with Data Quality (DQ) tools

  • Agile development methodologies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with peers and upper level management.

  • Ability to make verbal presentations on Data Governance topics.

  • Strong interpersonal skills including effective negotiation, conflict management, and the ability to develop strong working relationships.

  • Self-starter with the initiative to act upon opportunities with little direction and moderate oversight.


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
