Manages the financial accounting and reporting systems of Highland Hospital and assists in the management, development and implementation of the Hospital's annual budget processes. Responsibilities include preparation of monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis and interpretation of financials results, ensures monthly financial statements are prepared in a timely manner. Assists with coordination of auditing activities and is responsible for preparing audit work papers and support schedules. Reviews actual to budget results on a monthly basis and obtains and understand variances. Responsible for maintaining financial systems including ledger structure, chart of accounts, system based financial reports, user security, integration of systems and monthly balancing. Supervises staff and manages all personnel-related matters.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting ; 5 years management experience or relevant hospital accounting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. CPA preferred, but not required
