As the Buying Resources Department, we serve the Buying and Executive Departments and work closely with the IT Department to build a bridge between company programming, systems, and data that provides our internal customers and vendors with the tools needed to be successful.

If you are nodding along, then the Buying Resources System Assistant position is right for you!


As an entry-level Business Systems Assistant, a big part of your role is to determine what the Buying Department's needs are throughout our in-house systems and reporting. You will brainstorm with your fellow team members to determine how the buyers' needs can be integrated into our systems, and then you and your team will partner with the Technology Team to bring those needs to life. This involves talking to the buyers, gathering information, communicating information, testing system updates, logging bugs, fielding buyer questions, training buyers on updates, etc.

This position offers room for growth and a hand in company wide creations. You are willing to adapt to the constantly changing needs of your role as Buying Systems Assistant.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in training seminars and product demonstrations to small and large groups
  • Advocate on behalf of the Buying Team to the Technology Team during development stages
  • Provide analytical support by coordinating data extraction from various databases and data interpretation
