We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with exceptional customer service skills to be the initial point of contact in our fast-paced Human Resources Department.# Successful candidate will be dependable, have strong computer, organizational and telephone skills, be able to multi-task, and interact professionally with both visitors and employees.# This individual also will: Provide receptionist duties at our front desk by courteously greeting employees and visitors to the office, answer a busy, multi-line phone, and will open, date stamp and distribute the daily mail Provide information to employees regarding departmental functions that may require the use of judgment, tact and sensitivity and the interrelation of policies, rules and procedures; skillfully handle inquiries, and#research and respond to requests referring to other staff if warranted. Monitor, verify and update required employee credential renewals on a monthly basis and upload supporting documentation Ongoing maintenance of company-wide email groups Maintain and update confidential personnel records in HRIS, which includes scanning and uploading relevant documents Generate various ad hoc reports Serve as a resource to employees by answering basic questions or forwarding to appropriate individual for handling Respond to employment verification requests Assist with Onboarding of new employees, and to serve as a back up to Onboarding Coordinator Maintain the computerized ID system, make and distribute ID Badges, and order supplies as required Maintain office supplies and order as needed Maintain adequate supply of employee information in the HR informational carousel Serve as administrative support for all HR staff and perform various other clerical duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS:# High School graduate with emphasis on secretarial studies; minimum of two years of experience in a Human Resources office; proficiency with computers and with various software programs, including HRIS systems, MSWord,#Excel, and PowerPoint; exceptional customer service skills (i.e., patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm); ability to multi-task in a fast paced office setting; familiarity with employee benefits, onboarding and recruitment processes; strong communication skills
