Kane is a third-party logistics provider supporting essential businesses within the supply chain industry. We have multi-state facilities throughout the United States. We are seeking a reliable, experienced administrator who is able to work in multiple areas of accountability working where there is the highest need. The HR Administrator is responsible for processing within the areas of new hire and on boarding processing, payroll processing/auditing of reports, mail/fax management and other items as priorities shift. Responsibilities: File Management, including: * Managing all new hire processing to include: * Data entry for payroll processing * Printing * Manual filing in file room Payroll: * Scan paperwork to appropriate files * Assist with filing manual paperwork * Assist with various editing and data entry as tasks arise * Assist with the completion of incoming verifications of employment, wage requests, Medical Support Notices, subpoenas for pay records, etc. * Complete audit of new hire records for accuracy of data specific to pay and taxes * Collect banking information for direct deposit setup and initiate deposits * Assist with scanning Wage Garnishments to be processed by 3rd party vendor (ADP) * Other payroll duties as determined by Payroll Manager Recruiting/On boarding: * Assist team with reviewing backgrounds * Assist team with calling applicants to schedule for NHO * Printing and creating packets for orientation Mail processing: * Sort incoming mail as appropriate * Badges: * Assist team with badge creation * Skills: * Minimum of 1 year experience in human resources * Must have strong Excel skills or ability and willingness to learn * Must have experience in data entry * Must have excellent attention to detail * Must have experience working with confidential and sensitive information * Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience with ADP Software preferred * High School Diploma Safety of our associates has always been Kane's #1 priority.
