Kelly Services is actively recruiting for a Environmental Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity in Greater Memphis TN.

Customer Job Title: Environmental Manager
: Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Maintaining compliance with all Federal, State, and Local Environmental Permits, including but not limited to a RCRA Part B, Storm Water, Air Permit, and 10-Day Transfer Permit
• Preparing and maintaining Federal, State, and Local compliance reports, fees and certifications for Environmental Permits
• Conducting and maintaining Environmental Permit inspections, as well as maintaining Export/Import Reports
• Responsible for all communications with Environmental Agencies
• Producing regulatory analysis for projects to determine how a rule applies to new, existing, and modified operations
• Providing assistance in resolving issues concerning environmental compliance through research and conferring with appropriate operations and maintenance personnel
• Conduct/participate in training for compliance with environmental permits
• Develop/participate Standard Operating Procedures for compliance with environmental permits
• Assist with compliance audit
• Maintain a working knowledge of existing and proposed regulations that affect client operations through independent research, training classes, and conferences.

Qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Environmental Science degree is preferred
• Four or more years of direct environmental experience in waste management, refining or chemicals are required
• Physical ability to work in the plant site and accompany regulators on plant tours
• Ability to travel periodically
• Must have strong verbal and written skills along computer skills using Microsoft Word
• Five to seven years of direct RCRA permitting/compliance experience
• Five to seven years of Waste Water Treatment and Air compliance experience
• Experience in a manufacturing or consulting environment through previous work, co-op, or internship
• Related work experience with permitting and regulations are required
• Ability to be flexible and manage change
• Ability to organize and work self-sufficiently given direction and resources
• Interface effectively with all levels within the company as well as organizations outside the company (regulatory agencies, contractors, consultants), are required.
• Previous experience with SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint are desirable.
