Our client which is a Tech Startup located at the Empire State Building looking for a part time Facilities Coordinator to help at least through 12/20 (M-W-F: 8:30am to 5:30pm). They are closed the last 2 weeks of December but if they haven-t found a full time Facilities Manager, it could restart on January 6th.This person will need to play the role of a receptionist as well as an office manager.
Responsibilities include ensuring shared spaces are clean (we do have cleaning ladies), making sure pantry is stocked, oversee weekly Fri lunches, and serve as the receptionist (greet guests and coordinate visits). This person needs to be proficient with Gmail, Google calendar/docs/sheets, and be physically capable of lifting at least 40 pounds with the help of a dolly and or another person (get a lot of packages at the office).
This assignment will go until at least December 20th. The company is closed for 2 weeks during the holidays. If they haven-t found a permanent person by then, they will want the Temporary person to return on January 6th until further notice.
