We are seeking an experienced individual to work as a Management Analyst at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD.
This is a long-term contract position which offers:

TASKS/SERVICES. The contractor shall:
(1)Support the day-to-day operations of the fellowship program.
(2)Communicate with GME constituents (GME Office, department, faculty, fellows, ACGME, ABMS specialty board) on a regular basis or as needed.
(3)Interpret ACGME requirements, GME policies and procedures, and other NIH policies as applicable, and propose program policies and procedures based on external requirements.
(4)Advise fellows on policies and procedures, including the Fellowship Position Appointment (RPA/FPA) which outline the terms of fellows' appointments, and consult with the GME Office as needed.
(5)Meet with staff on a regular basis to keep him/her apprised of important issues related to the program and trainees.
(6)Administer the New Innovation Residency Management System for the program, including maintaining fellows' demographics data; schedules, importing program and rotation goals and objectives; conferences attendance tracking; and ensuring timely completion of duty hour reports.
(7)Ensure fellows submit case/procedure log data in appropriate systems as required by the RRC (ADS, New Innovation, other)
(8)Advise and consult on issues or inquiries from fellows, faculty, and staff
(9)Support confidential and critical materials, issues and communications. Act as liaison between staff and a full range of internal and external offices and individuals.
(10)Ensures adherence to the program's policies regarding duty hours and effects of leave on board eligibility.
(11)Manage PD's schedule and determine projects that need to be addressed by the PD, and those that can be delegated to Associate PDs and/or other staff.
(12)Identify areas for programmatic improvements and develop initiatives to address weaknesses.
(13)Provide general guidance regarding accreditation and program management to the department's constituents.
(14)Develop/manage program website for house-staff, faculty, and prospective house-staff.
REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:
(1)Master's degree in a related discipline. Three (3) years of specialized experience plus a Bachelor's degree is equivalent to a Master's degree.
(2)Minimum of three (3) years of related management experience.
(3)Experience in administration and or office management in an academic health care setting.
(4)Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
(5)Previous budget and auditing experience.
(6)Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
(7)Previous experience working in GME
(8)Familiarity with ACGME, AAMC and other accrediting & regulatory bodies that affect fellows' education & training.
