Our client is seeking a Technical Advisor to work directly with their DOD client just outside of Washington, DC. This is Direct Hire opportunity- relocation candidates are welcome to apply.
As a Technical Advisor you will be responsible for making recommendations for the Design and new Development of Electro Optical and Infrared Camera vision systems utilized in hard environments.
Work directly with vendors, engineers, and other third parties to determine the best solutions for advanced DOD EO/IR systems facilitating the transition of program deliverables to DoD stakeholders.
Those who have worked in Academia as a research engineers who have worked with governmental agencies is highly desired- this is a high-profile position with long term growth and with no slowdown in site for years to come.
- Must have developed EO/IR systems for at least 5 of the last 10 years for similar entities or private companies which serve the DOD.
- Supervised and Managed a team of developmental engineers, designed new technologies, and tested or supervised “field ready “equipment.
- Experience with Semiconductors and integration
- Past experience with Communicate with governmental and military officials on trends and ways to create the best systems for “now” and “future” development.
- Material management, selection, and working with vendors
- Excellent communication skills as a Consultant or Technical Advisor
Security Clearance is Required- only those who have or can obtain one will be considered for this role.
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Related
