Job Overview:

Business Title: Contracts Associate, Mobile Clinical Services (MCS)



Overview:

The Contracts Associate MCS will perform contract management tasks of various complexities in support of the global provider network for MCS business. The primary responsibility is to support development and review of Confidentiality Agreements, Services/Consulting Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Work Orders and other agreements as required for MCS, but not limited to the following:

 

Overview:

  • Perform contract management tasks for the MCS provider network (i.e., Country Coordinators, Home Health Agencies, etc.) on all MCS projects, as applicable
  • Develop, review and support negotiation of Confidentiality Agreements, Service Agreements, Master Services Agreements, Work Orders, etc., for the MCS provider network.
  • Develop working relationships and dialogue with global provider network to provide excellent customer service and timely updates on status of contractual agreements
  • Support negotiations for assigned MCS Agreements with moderate management support
  • Support the identification, and negotiation of Change Orders for assigned MCS projects to identify need for amendment to provider contracts, as applicable.
  • Develop a working knowledge of the differences between global MCS providers and to apply that knowledge to insure proper contract terms for all types of agreements
  • Manage and track contract lifecycle activities, and update MCS provider agreements prior to expiration, as applicable
  • Follow up on outstanding MCS contract issues for resolution to meet internal and external deadlines and to minimize business and legal risk
  • Support calculation of appropriate budget allocation and entry of requisitions for MCS Purchase Orders, submit requests for new vendor registration in the financial system, and follow-up as appropriate to verify completion
  • Work cross-functionally across business units to resolve MCS contract and billing issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in departmental initiatives, process improvements and strategic initiatives, as assigned.Ensure contract information and documents are uploaded to contract management tool(s) in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate updates on all outstanding contractual documents to MCS Senior/Project Management on a weekly basis or as otherwise required
  • Adhere to contract management policies and process
  • Other duties as assigned
Education/Qualifications:

BA or BS in business or life sciences (or equivalent experience)

Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years in the pharmaceutical or CRO industry with minimum of 1 year of contract management related experience
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, multi-task and prioritize
  • Demonstrated teamwork, communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Word (intermediate)
  • Problem Solving and Negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining tact
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Experience and comfort in a high volume, fast paced environment is essential
