Our leading diagnostics organization is in need of an experienced and resourceful Commercial Development Executive to develop and implement growth opportunities in existing and new healthcare markets. We're searching for professionals that have a solid track record of creating long-term relationships with larger commercial healthcare customers in the New England and Upstate NY markets. We're looking for true hunter type sales professionals that are customer-obsessed, and ready to solve the changing needs of potential customers. Candidates should have strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across all functional areas to drive large customer growth and satisfaction. Successful applicants should also be willing to travel.

  • Responsible for developing customers with multi-level decision makers that cut across multiple regions, and require a more complicated selling process
  • Develop market based strategic plans based upon evolving trends and opportunities
  • Develop innovative customer-focused solutions in response to customer needs in order to successfully close large customers
  • Ability to lead large scale projects and integration of new customers
  • Serve as the lead contact in supporting these customers on an ongoing basis
  • Responsible for collaborating with internal leadership to understand lab related services and effectively position them to large customers
  • Work in collaboration with other sales representatives in the division to leverage relationships and knowledge to expedite the sales process
  • Work directly with all internal teams- laboratory, IT, sales, managed care, marketing, customer service, operations- to develop market-specific strategies and implementations
  • Educate the above internal teams regarding emerging trends in the market
  • Accurately forecast and maintain a sales pipeline of new opportunities in-line with monthly and quarterly goals
  • Meet and exceed sales goals and achieve maximum sales growth within assigned geography
  • Develop and build business plans to meet annual and quarterly needs
  • Maintain accounts and provide ongoing customer support for current customer base
