Variable Hours Job Summary

**Please note this position will require extensive driving in which the primary route will be Grand Rapids and surrounding area.**

Under general supervision, drive a company vehicle for the purpose of transporting staff, visitors, or goods.

• Drive Lakeland Vehicle to transport patients. • Assist with or oversee loading and unloading of goods or luggage, and assist passengers with entering or exiting vehicle. • Maintain logs recording patients transported, arrival and departure times, and miles traveled. • May provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to more junior level associates. • Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff. • Inspect the vehicle pre- and post-trip. • Monitor the maintenance and repair of the vehicle. • Perform other duties as assigned. • Committed to the continuous improvement of the patient experience which includes patient safety, quality of care and excellent service. • Environmental Conditions: Potential exposure to fumes, dust, gases, and odors. Frequent changes in temperature may occur. Possibility of exposure to communicable diseases.
