Description

We have an exciting opportunity to join Duke LifePoint Healthcare in the beautiful state of North Carolina. Within the state we have 9 Duke LifePoint facilities, and we are looking for 2 full-time OBGYNs to fill a new and unique role working at 2 or more of our facilities.

We are looking for an OBGYN that wants to be part of our team and work with multiple medical and hospital staff members while providing high quality healthcare in locations where people love to live. This position will have a 7 days on/ 7 days off schedule (or a flexible block schedule) that will include outpatient and inpatient care. The incoming provider will share call with the other providers in the group.

While you are on, you would be located at one hospital only and take call at 1 hospital only. 1 week off, and then rotate to a second hospital within the same general geographic area (within one hour of the other location)on your next on week.

Position Description:

7on-7off schedule

Unrestricted Call Schedule

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited school of medicine with OB/GYN residency required

Graduating Residents and Fellows are welcome to apply

NC Medical License, valid and unrestricted required

Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology achieved within five (5) years after completion of training required

We have active OBGYN needs in the following locations:

  1. Frye Regional Medical Center Hickory, NC ( 1 hour North of Charlotte)
  2. Rutherford Regional Medical Center Rutherfordton, NC ( 1 Hour south of Asheville, 1 hours west of Charlotte)
  3. Central Carolina Hospital- Sanford, NC ( Near Cary and Apex, 45 minutes from Raleigh)
