RN Medical/Surgical Unit: Full-Time Under the general direction of the Department/Clinical Manager, the Registered Nurse Medical/Surgical (RN) independently provides holistic, individualized care using the nursing process for patients routinely seen on the unit. The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates clinical competency, nursing judgment,  teaching skills, and a commitment to improving the quality of patient care. The Registered Nurse (RN) independently performs general and unit-specific clinical skills. The Registered Nurse (RN) contributes to the Lone Peak Hospitals Department of Nursing and the nursing profession in a positive manner.  

Lone Peak Hospital is a 30-bed hospital, recently built to meet the healthcare needs of people in Utah's rapidly-developing Draper and South Valley communities. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

 Education:

Graduate of a school of Nursing.  BSN is desirable.

 Experience:

Acute care experience preferred.

 Licensure/Certifications:

 

  • Current Utah Registered Nurse License or RN Compact license (required).
  • Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 30 days of hire. 
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (ACLS) and Certification within 6 months of hire.
