PURPOSE OF ROLE

The purpose of the Lead Security Analyst Intake & Integrations is to plan, direct, and coordinate activities within the IAM Operations program. Additionally, this role will provide IAM consultation to enterprise DevOps teams that can include risk-based security, access, and continuity capabilities to meet changing internal and external threat landscapes. This includes regular collaboration and consultation with development, design, and program teams to determine what features to move forward and in what priority order for the best IAM customer experience.

The Lead Security Analyst Intake & Integrations role is critical to Lowe's as it understands the enterprise environment and builds policies that help Lowe's to reduce risk. This includes responsibility for identifying and protecting sensitive information, best practices for access and authorization management, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS

  • Oversee technical product management functions including business requirements elaboration, systems and process flow analysis, while ensuring alignment to key CIO and leader strategies.
  • Heavy collaboration across business and technology organizations, providing IAM consultation on Industry standards and security best practices.
  • Work with limited direction and critical deadlines, usually within a complex and evolving environment, to drive delivery of comprehensive client-ready solutions while influencing cultural change.
  • Continually evaluate product capabilities in partnership with Product Owners and provide consultation to product road-maps and strategy for IAM and Security.
  • Maintain an understanding of security related IT controls and various testing methods utilized to discover the effectiveness of those controls as well as networks and system architecture, data analysis, and complex IT infrastructure design and documentation.
  • Consults with Product Owners about security compliance against corporate standards, regulatory, and other industry defined policies.
  • Work with appropriate teams to review design specifications, design documentation, configuration practices, operational practices and procedures, and code and architectural reviews where needed.
  • Provide vulnerability assessments, gap analysis, risk analysis, and coordinate other discrete security testing as required, including penetration testing.
  • Work with IAM leadership for their product(s) and monitors product KPIs to ensure success metrics are being met, prioritizes options for improvement or enhancement.
  • Work with Security Leadership and IT Leadership to drive work across other organizations and helps move and prioritize work into other backlogs.


REQUIRED EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
  • H.S. Diploma in General Studies and 8+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or equivalent
  • One or more of the following Information Security certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC. Analytical / problem solving skills. Ability to articulate business risks and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical personnel. Knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk, and Compliance
  • Broad knowledge of infrastructure (networks and servers), services, and security policies. Ability to work in a team environment, as well as act independently and exercise good judgment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and 6+ years of experience as a Security Analyst or equivalent
  • "Retail" industry experience in an Information Technology related area
