Develop and take the leadership role in the contract's outreach and public relations plan and activities. Ensure contacts are established as stipulated in the plan.
Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking, develop linkages with referral sources such a human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations and churches, contract potential enrollees to explore enrollment.
Prepare, schedule and provide outreach presentation in coordination with the assigned admissions counselor from that area.
Stay current with center information for the assigned centers to include trade availability.
Focus marketing efforts the available trade of each center. Work closely with each center to ensure success stories of graduate youth in employment, military and college are published through e-newsletters and other forms of media and out reach.
Maintain linkages with the one-stop career centers; keep one-stops informed and updated on Job Corps.
Act as liaison between Director and staff, community contacts and the customer.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities a determined by management.
Salary: $39,000 - $42,000
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree and one year sales or marketing experience. Directly related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education requirements. Experience working with youth, excellent written and verbal communication and computer proficiency also required. Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record.
