The Lead Developer role is responsible for working with regional, product, and technical teams to identify improvements to be made to MasterCard's core switching platforms.
This role is key to developing improvements, expansion of capabilities, and problem-solving of MasterCard's core platforms by researching opportunities, understanding the business needs of internal product owners, customers, and the industry in general that utilize the systems. The product specialist will be identifying solutions that meet the customer needs and developing strategies to drive MasterCard in the transaction switching environment.

All About You
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in a customer-facing role interfacing with mid to senior level executives.
Ability to influence external customers and internal business partners, at all levels, and drive towards results, without direct management authority.
Strong data analysis skills, ability to use data reporting tools to obtain, analyze, and report against large complex transaction data bases
Business Acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive positive results to the customer and MasterCard.
Highly organized and able to deal with multiple and competing priorities
Knowledge of electronic payment processing is desired but not required as is a strong understanding of customer business processes/needs and the ability to translate those into business and product requirements
Effectively interface with all areas and levels of management including Customers (Issuers and corporate clients), Senior executives (internal and external); Glboal Products teams, Customer Relationship teams, Business Development, Development teams.
Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing conditions and priorities is critical to success.
Bachelors degree in business or relevant experience, MBA preferred
